HISEF is a non-profit organization with an aim to provide community services to the less privileged children for self-reliance and development. HISEF is open to all Nigerians to readily support and provide vocational training facilities to the less privileged to help them actualize their potentials.

PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION

• To cater for abandoned and less privileged children.

• To organize the less privileged persons into viable groups and co-operatives.

• To promote functional literacy among the less privileged persons.

• To educate the less privileged persons on policies that affects their social and economic status.

• Play an advocacy role on behalf of the less privileged persons on issues that affect their socioeconomic status in the society. 

• To provide emergency support to physically challenged children; sponsor less privileged orphans; conduct supportive medical and clinical outreach for the less privileged persons, and provide educational support materials.

THE FOUNDATION'S GOALS

• This Foundation is devoted to close the gap between the less privileged persons and their community through attaining lofty goals. 

• The foundation would focus on primary level of education of less privileged children, youth skills acquisition, and use of technology to facilitate the improvement of less privileged children and youth visions. 

• The Foundation shall provide education materials, facilitate vocational skills acquisition, provide empowerment and emergency support to the less privileged to build moral, confident and self-determination in them to diminish the illusions about the society's negative impact on them.

STATEMENT OF NON DISCRIMINATION

This organization shall not discriminate on the basis of sex, color, sexual orientation, gender, religion, age, marital status, ethnicity, and disability.This policy will include, but not limited to recruiting new members, membership status, organization’s activities, or opportunities to hold office.

HISEF MEMBERSHIP

  Membership shall be open to all Nigerians of various classes who show concern to the course and wellbeing   of the less privileged persons in our various communities. Such persons who will freely support this course can join the organization.

• Membership of new persons shall become effective upon the completion and fulfillment of the registration requirements of HISEF.

• To be effectively considered a member of HISEF, each individual must register with HISEF.

• Membership as in 4.2 above is renewable annually with HISEF in order for old members to remain active. 

• Each member shall comply with this Constitution, and be willing to assist when called upon by the management board.

• Both General and Active members shall be financial members of HISEF activities.  

• All members shall be accorded rights and privileges as stipulated in this constitution.

• Members shall make suggestion to the Management Board for the suave running of the organization.

• Sponsors may act as associate members.

• Sympathisers, well-wishers or supporters willing to support the organization shall be considered as associate members.

NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATEMENT

This is a not-for-profit organization. All fund raised by the organization shall be solely used for community services to support the less privileged and not for any personal interest.
